Around August 2022, a hydromulch truck was placing inadequate amounts of mulch on Servia properties, and an owner informed the operator that the placement is unsatisfactory. Many areas remained bare with exposed soil after the operation, and have not been replenished as of April 2024, resulting in serious tripping hazards and erosion of soil. At least one owner bought mulch at Home Depot and placed at their own expense. Letters were sent to the HOA on 09/04/2022, 10/27/2022, 07/23/2023, but the HOA has not even responded to the letters. Burrowing wasps dug holes in bare soil at various locations in 2023, attacking several people repeatedly, and one family stated that they are moving away due to the stinging insect nests near their door.
Although owners are being harassed for not pressure washing their driveways, the Association has failed to maintain concrete throughout the property for years. Additionally, the HOA hired a vendor to drill holes in sidewalks within owner properties, and debris was not cleaned up, and the holes were poorly patched with a different color cement. Therefore these sidewalks on owners property have 3 colors of concrete due to HOA work, while the HOA is sending letters to owners that they need to clean concrete driveways.
Different chemicals have been applied to various portions of landscaping. Several workers stated that they do not know the substance(s) that they were spraying by hand from back tank. One landscaper using ATV mounted pump reported that "growth inhibitors" were sprayed on bushes so that they do not have to trim so often. This occurred on several occasions and adults and children have reported rashes, itching and ongoing symptoms. One child stated that the white substance on leaves "tastes horrible." Would this appear to be a liability for owners if neighbor children ingest the substances and have symptoms?
Although certain owners are being monitored and photographed for leaving a just-purchased trash can in front of their car for 3 hours, others can leave their cans outside for days with no worry of HOA harassment.
